That's a hit!

He's keeping track of her sword too it seems, else he wouldn't be nearly so lucky with his dodges. So now Iri just needs to feint and run him through. Or race him to the mastermind and finish cleaning in the hopes of him reverting to a more friendly disposition once she does.
It seems surprisingly equal so far, though Iri did just manage to get a glancing blow in on his backside.

Still, in a straight up fight, he's probably the better fighter and would win.
But how many fights have Iri fought so far that was "straight up fights" ?

I mean, heck, she once used Chekov's Sun as a weapon.

aw jeez, that's a fantastic pun, I didn't notice it the first time. Nice one, view!
For those who don't get it, playwright Anton Chekov once said "Remove everything that has no relevance to the story. If you say in the first chapter that there is a rifle hanging on the wall, in the second or third chapter it absolutely must go off. If it's not going to be fired, it shouldn't be hanging there."

So by the principle of Chekov's Gun, if you mention solar flares that fry electronics in the first act....
Yeah, but he already used the solar flares, and I doubt Kax would fall for it twice.

My point was rather that Iri doesn't fight fair, if she can get away with it.
